As Frontend Lead Engineer in the Accommodations vertical, you guide a cross-functional team to build high-performance, scalable web experiences for a global travel audience. You shape technical strategy with Product, Architecture and Data Science, and mentor engineers to achieve technical excellence. You will lead a 7–10 person team, hire talent, and drive metrics that deliver customer value. This role offers exposure to innovative AI-enabled tools and a chance to influence Prime’s evolving platform in a dynamic, agile culture.

Responsibilities

Lead a high-performing cross-functional agile team of 7–10 software engineers
Define and evolve the technical strategy for your modules and ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Data Science to shape technical direction for the Prime domain
Translate specifications into high-performance designs and actionable tasks
Promote technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
Participate in hiring and onboarding to build a culture of high performance
Manage team performance, set goals, and prioritize work to balance capacity
Foster identity, engagement and belonging within the team with support from an agile coach
Mentor teammates to develop their skills and careers

Key requirements

Knowledge and experience with coding, OO design, system design, performance tuning and data modelling
Javascript and code base knowledge
Experience with distributed, concurrent and scalable systems
Experience with Applied AI Tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and AI-driven development approaches.
Experimentation mindset and curiosity for AI-driven solutions in software workflows
