Experteer Overview
As a member of Viasat Government - Secure Network Systems, you will develop high‑speed FPGA-based solutions and verify RTL with UVM. You collaborate across disciplines to deliver advanced communications products for secure networks. You’ll design, test, and debug FPGA/ASIC modules while driving quality through robust verification and code reviews. This role offers hands-on work on mission-critical systems in a collaborative, on-site setting with opportunities to impact national security programs.

Tasks
- Develop testbenches using SystemVerilog/UVM
- Create drivers, monitors, scoreboards, sequences, and model predictors
- Write and debug constrained-random and directed test cases
- Debug failing tests and review RTL/VHDL/Verilog with RTL developers
- Collect and report code and functional coverage
- Maintain simulation regressions and participate in code/design reviews
- Maintain UVM code revision history and drive technical issue resolution
Key requirements
- 5+ years FPGA/ASIC design with UVM verification experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
- Foundational knowledge of digital logic and timing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with EDA tools (Xilinx ISE/Vivado, Quartus, Synopsys Synplify, etc)
- Proven track record in Verilog/VHDL with UVM testbenches
- Ability to design for re-use, maintainability and scalability
- US citizenship and active SECRET clearance
- Onsite role in Carlsbad, CA or Marlborough, MA with up to 10% travel
