Treasury, Analytics, & Integration is a dynamic group specializing in treasury management, operation analytics, and cross operational support. We support the assistant treasurer and treasurer in making cash and treasury decisions on a daily basis. Our analytics is a supporting function to many of the operational departments including treasury, accounts Receivable, accounts payable, procurement, contracts, Corporate FP&A, and others.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Assist the treasury team in daily cash analysis & management, involving decision making on cash & debt management.
* Collaborate with treasury, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to report out and drive insight on cash inflows and outflows.
* Execute in the managing of treasury & cash reporting for the purpose of monthly, quarterly, and annual briefings to the treasurer and assistant treasurer.
* Assist in efforts to drive improvement on enterprise DSO and DPO to improve MITRE's overall cashflow
* Provide analysis to the treasury management team including internal/external cash metrics and standardized reporting in the form of dashboards and workbooks.
* Support other operational departments (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Contracts, Procurement, Corporate FP&A, etc.) in streamlining and standardizing their reporting which can be used to report to the finance directors and treasurer.
* Build financial acumen in treasury and operational areas to bring continuity and integration between the groups for efficient cash management.
* Support leadership on financial performance management and ad-hoc projects.
* Ensure accurate processing and documentation of financial reporting/transactions to ensure established levels of quality and efficiency KPIs.
* Utilize and apply best practices regarding tools, technology, and standard financial processes.
Basic Qualifications:
* Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
* Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
* Strong Tableau skills, including attention to detail.
* Basic understanding of treasury concepts and cash management best practices.
* Basic understanding of operational functions such as accounts receivable and accounts payable play a role in cash management
* Ability to lead initiatives and workstreams to drive process and measurement change across operational areas.
* Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond positively to changes in priorities.
* Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion.
* Employ problem-solving skills and analysis.
* Strong customer service orientation
* Perform other related duties as may be requested/required.
* This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site presence.
