Join Barrick's Fourmile Project Team as a Mine Engineer I or II to help design, plan, and optimize underground mining operations. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, geologists, and specialists to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient mining solutions. You’ll drive short- and long-range mine planning, audits, and site forecasting while supporting exploration and reconciliation efforts. Responsibilities

Produce mine production reports and track KPIs to identify improvement opportunities
Own mine design and short- and long-range planning
Conduct site audits to improve compliance and efficiency
Coordinate with geology/exploration for planning drilling and mine-to-mill reconciliation
Design and as-built layouts for underground development and services
Create site forecasts and budgets and monitor variances
Review site deliverables for completeness and clarity; prepare presentations/reports
Coordinate with operations to ensure plan compliance and minimize disruptions

Key requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering
Minimum 1 year of underground mining engineering experience
Solid understanding of engineering principles and US mining regulations
Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
Excellent time and productivity management
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Vulcan, Deswik, Ventsim
