Experteer Overview
In this role you will join UCSF’s Foot and Ankle service to diagnose and treat the full spectrum of foot and ankle conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across UCSF locations, contributing to patient care, education, and scholarly activity. You will drive clinically impactful work while mentoring students, residents, and fellows. This is an academic position with opportunities to publish, teach, and participate in clinical research within a leading medical center.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic and interventional management for foot/ankle conditions
- Collaborate on investigative work leading to peer‑reviewed publications
- Engage in didactic and bedside teaching for medical students, residents, and fellows
- Mentor trainees and contribute to program development and scholarly activities
- Work across UCSF locations (Mission Bay, Marin, San Mateo) with access to all UCSF resources
- Maintain compliance with licensing and credentialing requirements
Key requirements
- California medical license or equivalent Special Permit
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree
- Completed Orthopaedic Residency
- Foot/Ankle Fellowship completed
- Board certification/eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Materials must list current/pending qualifications at submission
