Experteer Overview
In this role you will support DoD/DAF information access programs by implementing FOIA, Privacy Act, and Civil Liberties guidance. You will serve as a subject-matter expert, guiding HQ staff and ensuring program compliance through reviews and training. You will prepare communications and documentation while coordinating with stakeholders to address information requests and governance. This position offers a chance to influence how information is managed and protected across installations, contributing to robust information governance and accountability.

Responsibilities
- Serve as FOIA Manager, providing guidance and training to MAJCOM staff on compliance with program requirements
- Act as Privacy Act and Civil Liberties POC and Program Manager, overseeing related activities
- Prepare written and oral communications, including correspondence and training materials
- Serve as Pertinent Oversight Authority for the Inspector General Continual Evaluation Program
Key requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Male must be registered for Selective Service
- Subject to DoD Priority Placement Program
- Security clearance as required
- May require travel and drug testing
- Term/Temp position withNot-to-Exceed date; potential for extension
- Specialized experience at NH-02 level or GS-11 equivalent in FOIA/Privacy Act/Civil Liberties
- Ability to research and apply complex regulations
