In this role you act as the local fluid power expert, partnering with Account Managers to define and offer technical solutions that meet customer performance goals. You build relationships with existing and new customers in your territory, driving business growth and providing practical, technically grounded guidance. You will train internal teams and customers, coordinate projects, and help shape the Fluid Power knowledge base. This position offers impact across sales, technical problem solving, and customer success within our service network.
Responsibilities
- Co-create and execute an engagement plan with local US Service Center sales to target high-potential accounts and drive sales and profit
- Serve as the regional technical fluid power expert, facilitating supplier interactions with internal teams and customers
- Consult with customers, suppliers, and internal resources to develop and present fluid power solutions and technical proposals
- Deliver fluid power training to internal staff and customers to expand knowledge and value
- Cultivate relationships with supplier resources to specify products and systems enhancing customer performance
- Coordinate projects with US Service Center personnel
- Contribute to developing the Fluid Power knowledge base with applications, case histories, and competitive intelligence
Key requirements
- 3+ years fluid power experience with practical applications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent (Technical Diploma, Bachelor's preferred)
- IFPS Certification preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to multiple levels
- Proficiency with MS Office and remote collaboration tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team; strong problem solving and time management
- Demonstrated customer management and business development capabilities
