As a FlexCare Physician in Hematology/Oncology, you provide compassionate, evidence-based cancer care to adults across multiple community clinics. You will collaborate with clinic teams, APPs, and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient experiences and participate in tumor boards, clinical trials, and quality initiatives. The role supports flexible, short-term coverage with guaranteed hours and opportunities for professional growth. You’ll contribute to mission-driven, value-based cancer care while maintaining high standards of care across TOI locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based hematology/oncology care to adult patients
  • Collaborate with local clinic teams, APPs, and nursing staff to deliver seamless patient experiences
  • Participate in tumor boards, clinical trials, and TOI quality initiatives
  • Adapt quickly to varying clinic workflows while maintaining TOI’s high standards of care
  • Support mentorship and training within local teams when assigned

Key requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • Active or eligible licensure in CA, NV, AZ, OR, FL
  • Minimum of 1-year post-fellowship experience preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary, value-based environments
  • Willingness to travel and work at multiple TOI locations
