In this role you will manage the bank’s regulatory and SEC reporting, ensuring timely, accurate filings and compliance with GAAP and evolving standards. You’ll partner with external auditors and the Finance team to support quarterly reviews, annual audits, and ad hoc analyses. The position sits at the core of public reporting for a bank holding company, aligning reporting processes with regulatory expectations. Responsibilities

  • Manage all regulatory reporting requirements for the bank and bank holding company (FFIEC Call Report, Y9-LP, Y9-C and other filings)
  • Oversee SEC reporting processes including 8-Ks, annual proxy, and financial statements
  • Resolve technical accounting issues and implement new accounting standards
  • Prepare accounting position memos and support auditors during reviews and audits
  • Provide ad hoc financial analyses to the Finance organization

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (BA/BS)
  • 8 years of US GAAP accounting and general ledger experience in public accounting or a large public company
  • 5 years of regulatory reporting experience (FFIEC Call Report, FRY9-LP, FRY9-C)
  • Deep understanding of GAAP and financial/regulatory reporting
  • Proficiency with regulatory reports (FFIEC Call Report, Y9-LP, Y9-C)
  • Proficiency with regulatory reporting software (FedReporter, SmartCall, SmartY9)
  • Working knowledge of financial reporting software (Workiva)
  • Familiarity with XBRL tagging and EDGAR filing processes
