Experteer Overview
In this role you will support the Finance Director and oversee all finance and payroll activity. You will deliver timely internal and external financial reporting and provide insightful analysis to maximise profitability and efficiency. You will prepare monthly management and consolidated accounts, monitor performance, and guide business planning with accurate forecasts. You will also lead payroll, AP/AR, and a small team, driving process improvements in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and budgets with KPIs
- Produce consolidated and entity management accounts in line with UK GAAP
- Conduct performance and risk analysis to highlight concerns
- Develop analyses to support sales strategy development and measurement
- Manage annual business plan forecasts and cost vs. budget reporting
- Present reports to senior management for planning and decision making
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Payroll processing
- Team management
Key requirements
- Qualified Accountant with experience as Finance Manager or Financial Controller
- Experience producing monthly consolidated management accounts for multiple entities
- Strong reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance/risk analysis skills
- Knowledge of UK GAAP
- Experience in process improvement and working in a fast-paced environment
