In this role, you will lead the design and optimization of financial systems and processes to ensure accurate reporting and reliable operations. You will collaborate across IT, data teams, and the finance function to drive system performance improvements and streamlined close processes. You’ll own system administration, documentation, and master data integrity to support organizational goals. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that shapes how finance technologies enable scalable, data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of finance process improvements including mapping, monitoring, and optimization
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems and recommend best practices aligned with company goals
- Manage end-to-end finance processes and applications for seamless operation and integration
- Develop and maintain documentation of finance solutions and workflows
- Coordinate with IT and data teams to prioritize projects and enhancements
- Ensure accuracy of master data within finance applications for reliable reporting
- Oversee system integrations and address issues to ensure functionality
- Support accounting during monthly and annual close with system-related guidance
- Act as administrator for all finance systems to ensure performance and user adoption
- Monitor system performance, data integrity, and process efficiency while driving continuous improvement
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in finance strategy, systems management, and process improvement
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite, Coupa, and Shopify
- Experience with financial reporting tools including Vena Solutions and Microsoft SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Proven ability to manage cross-department and multi-entity projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including engagement with senior executives
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
