In this Finance Controller role, you own the country/region’s financial performance and help shape strategy in a multinational setting. You partner with senior leadership to ensure governance, analytics and decision support that drive profitability and efficiency. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance management while ensuring IFRS compliance and robust controls. The role blends financial rigor with business insight to influence commercial decisions and support digitalisation of financial processes.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning and financial performance management
Deliver month-end close, management reporting and variance analysis
Provide actionable financial insights to influence commercial decisions
Drive profitability through pricing, margin analysis and cost optimization
Evaluate business cases, investments and strategic opportunities
Ensure IFRS compliance, tax regulations, internal controls and audits
Oversee project accounting, revenue recognition (incl. IFRS 15) and WIP monitoring
Support digitalisation and improvement of financial systems and processes
Lead and develop the Finance team in a cross-functional, matrix organisation

Key requirements

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar
Substantial experience in controlling, FP&A or commercial finance in an international environment
Strong ERP experience with SAP advantageous
Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and IFRS reporting
Analytical mindset with business acumen and proactive, solution-oriented approach
Clear communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders
Structured, hands-on approach with high ownership, accuracy and compliance
Experience leading teams in cross-functional settings
