In this role you will act as a finance-focused partner to drive risk-aware digital and process transformations within Innovative Medicine. You will lead compliance initiatives, harmonize internal controls, and ensure new processes integrate seamlessly into Principal Operations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen controls, monitor transformation effectiveness, and advance a culture of continuous improvement. This is a strategic role shaping compliant, scalable transformation across the finance function.

Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance to the finance team during digital and process transformation initiatives
Identify operational and financial risks and propose effective controls to mitigate gaps
Recommend actions to improve accounting and operational procedures and internal controls
Develop frameworks for monitoring and reporting transformation progress and effectiveness
Lead critical compliance projects from planning through execution and evaluation
Facilitate stakeholder engagement to secure alignment and support for compliance projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with organizational planning
Ensure transformation initiatives comply with laws, regulations, and industry standards
Create strong business partnerships with management and stakeholders
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and compliance awareness in finance

Key requirements

Recognized accounting qualification such as CPA or CIA (existing or willing to obtain)
Bachelor's degree in finance
Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience, including at least 2 years in a compliance/internal control lead role
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
Experience assessing internal controls and communicating findings to stakeholders
Excellent communication and project management skills
Strong teamwork in virtual/remote environments
Ability to think creatively and work outside the box
Process-oriented with strong analytical capabilities
Demonstrated alignment with J&J Credo values
