As Talent Manager, you drive revenue by developing new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and placing finance and accounting professionals in contract and contract-to-hire roles. Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through cold calls, referrals, email campaigns, and networking events
  • Conduct consultative meetings with decision-makers to assess hiring needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Negotiate bill rates, contract terms, and project scopes to align client and company objectives
  • Manage a personal production pipeline and achieve defined targets
  • Serve as strategic advisor to clients to align workforce planning with business goals
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with stakeholders in accounting and finance departments
  • Source, interview, and match professionals for project, contract, and contract-to-hire roles
  • Provide career coaching and guidance to candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain a diverse candidate pipeline to meet current and anticipated demand
  • Document client and candidate activity in Salesforce and analyze performance metrics to inform strategies

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years in business development or staffing in a metrics-driven environment
  • Proven track record of closing new business with multiple decision-makers
  • Understanding of accounting and finance roles, terminology, and department structures
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter mindset and results-driven attitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/ATS systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday)
