In this role you support the sales team with pre-sales demonstrations and post-sales assistance, focusing on advanced metrology applications and ZEISS technologies. You’ll deliver technical training, on-site and remote support, and assist with software and hardware integrations. Your work helps customers apply ZEISS systems to real measurement challenges and contributes to product testing and field feedback. This position combines hands-on engineering with customer-facing communication to drive adoption and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical consultation to sales teams and the IM dealer network on advanced applications
- Ensure accurate technical information flows to the field sales force
- Deliver technical training programs to sales personnel and dealer partners
- Plan and perform customer demonstrations, in-house and on-site
- Provide after-sales technical support to help customers use ZEISS systems
- Support all Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology systems and respond to software questions
- Assist with software and system testing for product development
- Prepare quotes and analyze inspection requirements for projects
- Implement quoted application items on-site
- Support IT topics including Windows OS, networking, and database management
- Apply knowledge of SPC and GD&T
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of 3D mathematics and programming in modern scientific languages
- Excellent verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
