Faculty in Applications of Physics, Data Science and/or Engineering to Particle Accelerators (Tenured, F1117A

In this tenure-track/tenured faculty role, you will lead an externally funded interdisciplinary program at the intersection of accelerator science and AI/ML, engineering, and physics. You will collaborate with Physics, Engineering, Data Science, and Jefferson Lab scientists to advance accelerator design, performance optimization, and large-scale simulations. The position includes teaching at undergrad and grad levels and mentoring graduate students, with a strong emphasis on building a collaborative research portfolio. This is part of a multi-position cluster hire aimed at accelerating applications of physics, data science, and engineering to particle accelerators.
