Experteer Overview
In this role you will develop, implement, and maintain Mosaic Life Care’s compliance and safety program for the facilities. You will work under the Director/Manager of Facilities to ensure regulatory alignment, safety training, and ongoing guidance to staff. You’ll stay current with NFPA, JCAHO, ASHE, and related codes and foster a culture of safety. This position shapes how facilities meet high standards across the system and partners with leadership to manage regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the facility compliance and safety program ensuring standards are met
- Lead regular safety meetings and provide guidance on best practices and regulatory updates
- Coordinate and deliver training on occupational, fire, and life safety systems, including new hire and contractor orientation
- Support regulatory interactions with CMS, OSHA, DHSS, TJC, and others as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Architecture, Environmental/Occupational Safety or related field preferred
- H.S. Diploma required
- Driver's License - valid and in-state
- OSHA 30 within 120 days
- FEMA Incident Command System certifications within 1 year
- Knowledge of CAD/Bluebeam
- 5 years in compliance program management preferred
- 3 years hospital-based Environment of Care and Life Safety regulatory compliance experience preferred
