In this role you will deliver high-quality multi-line risk evaluations and loss analysis, conducting on-site policyholder visits to identify exposures and controls. You will collaborate with underwriters, agents, and internal teams to provide value-add loss control services that support profitable underwriting and account retention. You’ll help policyholders reduce risk through safety programs, training, and risk identification, while shaping the Loss Control department and mentoring colleagues. This position offers flexible location and remote work options to fit department needs, with a focus on building lasting relationships and measurable improvements in loss performance.

Responsibilities
- Deliver multi-line risk evaluations and loss analyses for workers’ compensation, property, liability lines, and related exposures
- Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to provide risk improvement consultations that impact loss ratios and business growth
- Conduct on-site visits and prepare comprehensive survey reports with actionable recommendations
- Create value-based communications summarizing activities and solutions to minimize policyholder exposure
- Serve as a technical resource for underwriters, departments, and policyholders
- Assist policyholders in identifying exposures and implementing effective controls
- Provide risk reduction services including safety culture development, training, and program development
- Market Loss Control capabilities to policyholders and agents to drive profitable business
- Contribute to department evolution through technical input and project work
- Mentor and train new or less experienced Loss Control associates
Key requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and marketing skills

- Strong interpersonal, consultative, and collaborative abilities
- Problem solving, critical thinking, organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and with a strong work ethic
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
- Ability to travel and occasional overnight stays
- Valid driver's license with good driving history
