Responsibilities

Directly supervise digital producers and provide feedback to enhance visual storytelling
Review scripts and guide newsroom staff to maintain quality and pace
Manage and coordinate breaking news coverage
Collaborate with News Director, managers, and station personnel on strategy
Plan, execute, and oversee website and social platform continuity and strategy
Guide and support the digital team to keep platforms relevant and timely

Key requirements

Two to five years in a television newsroom or equivalent
College degree in Journalism or a related field
Strong writing skills with proven results aligned to station goals
Ability to interpret content brand without resorting to clickbait
Experience using digital analytics to set goals and measure success
Management experience creating engaging content across multiple platforms
Strong people skills with coaching, motivating, and teaching
