Senior Specialist / Project Manager

In this role you guide the Air Force housing program, aligning policy and strategy with senior DoD leadership. You will shape multi-year plans, manage complex housing initiatives, and partner with private developers to advance execution. You collaborate across installations, MAJCOMs, and external agencies to ensure timely, compliant outcomes. This is a mission-critical position focused on improving housing program effectiveness and readiness.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the CI director, HAF, MAJCOMs, and installations to set goals, priorities, staffing, and workload requirements.
Formulate and oversee a multi-year plan to implement complex housing programs, including public-private partnerships with developers.
Represent the Installations Directorate in meetings and briefings with federal, state, local authorities, regulatory bodies, and the public on housing goals, plans, and capabilities.
Oversee all phases of housing programs to ensure integration with policy, timelines, and performance criteria.

Key requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required
Males must be registered for Selective Service
Security clearance as required for the position
Specialized experience at NH-03 or equivalent (GS-13) involving interpretation and implementation of housing policies and advising on housing acquisitions, development, management, leasing, and disposal
Ability to travel occasionally and meet travel requirements
Willingness to undergo probationary or trial periods as applicable
Compliance with financial disclosure requirements (OGE Form 450)
