As an Environmental Compliance Specialist at Stantec, you help clients meet federal, state, and local environmental requirements. Responsibilities

Provide environmental compliance consulting to government and commercial clients
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver audit services nationwide
Serve as an environmental auditor evaluating facilities for regulatory conformance
Work independently and in teams to confirm compliance and guide return-to-compliance actions
Develop findings, recommendations, and corrective actions across air emissions, water, waste, hazardous materials, and related media

Key requirements

Knowledge of environmental regulatory standards and programs
Experience with air emissions, potable water, water pollution control, hazardous materials, waste management, tank storage, and toxic substances control
Willingness to travel 85%+ of part-time hours
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; openness to learning auditing software
Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass background checks and obtain security clearance
Drug screen required
3–5 years of audit/inspection experience supporting regulatory compliance
