In this onsite role in Philadelphia, you will drive net-new revenue by bringing top-producing agents to Compass, selling our value proposition to decision-makers. You work in the Strategic Growth team, focusing on relationship-building, empathy, and strategic negotiations to help agents switch brokerages. The position blends field-based client engagement with office collaboration to scale market expansion. You will influence high-stakes decisions and contribute to Compass’s mission of transforming real estate through technology and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to recruit top-producing agents and teams to Compass
  • Present and sell the Compass value proposition (technology, marketing, culture, growth) to decision-makers
  • Build and maintain relationships with agents through in-person meetings and events
  • Lead client meetings and presentations with clear value narratives
  • Achieve quarterly GCI-based quota by onboarding agents/teams
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align on support for recruited agents
  • Navigate complex negotiations with autonomy and careful stakeholder management

Key requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a glass-half-full mentality
  • Self-starter with ability to solve problems without direct supervision
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Highly organized with strong multi-tasking and deadline management
  • Proven track record across strategic, operational, and detail-demanding responsibilities
