In this role you drive CAPEX projects for pharmaceutical production facilities, including clean rooms and utilities. You work within a cross-functional setting to define technical solutions, budgets, and schedules in a GMP environment. You oversee installation, commissioning, and startup phases, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You contribute to mid- to long-term investment strategy and promote asset innovation to support scalable manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Manage CAPEX investment projects for pharmaceutical production plants, including clean rooms, utilities, and labs
Plan, budget, execute, and monitor projects to meet timing, budget, and quality standards in pharma
Collaborate with Corporate functions and Quality, Production, MS&T, HSE, and Purchasing to define technical and regulatory specifications
Act as project manager for approved projects and hand over per company procedures
Oversee installation, commissioning, and start-up phases of plants and infrastructure
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and pharmaceutical quality regulations
Contribute to defining the company’s medium- to long-term investment strategy
Promote technological innovation and continuous improvement of productive assets

Key requirements

Engineering Degree (preferably Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or similar)
4 to 10 years of experience in managing CAPEX projects in pharmaceutical or life sciences
In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations and main regulatory standards (FDA, EMA)
Proven experience in managing complex projects in regulated environments
Excellent project management, budgeting and supplier management skills
Leadership, problem solving and ability to work in cross-functional teams
Fluent English (spoken and written) at least B2
