As Engineering Manager at Qred, you will shape organizational design, people leadership, and ways of working within the Revenue Domain. You’ll guide two engineering teams, ensuring alignment with Agile, Lean, and DevOps practices while advancing the Qred Engineering Maturity Model. You’ll partner with product, design, and leadership to deliver a seamless product experience and scale engineering as we expand in Europe. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-growing fintech with a strong culture and cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities

Oversee performance and development of ~10 engineers across two teams.
Champion Agile, Lean, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps practices; drive QEMM adoption.
Foster collaboration between Engineering, Product Management, and UX Design.
Define team structures and resource allocation to support Europe expansion.
Lead recruitment strategy to attract top talent and build a high-performing team.
Collaborate with CTO, Architects, Product Managers, and CRO to align with growth strategy.

Key requirements

Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
Technical background with broad full-stack experience; JavaScript (Node.js / React / React Native) preferred.
Understand Serverless-first and Event-driven architecture; coding not required.
Minimum two years as Head of Engineering or five years as Engineering Manager in a sizable org.
University engineering degree.
Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and modern software development principles.
Excellent cross-functional communication.
Office-first mindset; based in Stockholm HQ; hybrid setup.
Experience with Claude code for automating tasks.
