In this Engineering Manager role, you lead a team of engineers to support manufacturing of new products and optimize existing processes. You will drive capital projects, equipment installation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver safe, cost-effective manufacturing improvements. You’ll troubleshoot complex machinery, develop business cases, and mentor staff while advancing manufacturing technologies. Responsibilities

New/replacement equipment implementation: manage purchase, install, debug, and documentation of new equipment (robots, conveyors, labelers, case sealers, etc.)
Improve manufacturing safety by addressing ergonomic and safety concerns
Train staff on new equipment operation
Evaluate processes and propose layout and materials improvements
Analyze and resolve major process problems with machinery
Project management: develop business cases, quotes, approvals, and implement capital projects
Lead cross-functional teams including Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Scheduling
Develop project timelines to meet launch targets
Productivity: evaluate and develop new manufacturing technologies
Recommend and implement process and layout improvements to match needs
Improve direct labor efficiencies
R&D support: develop manufacturing processes and equipment for new/improved products
Create/update Manufacturing Documents for current and new products
Ensure accurate costing in collaboration with Finance
Support daily troubleshooting of equipment

Key requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar field
6-9 years of manufacturing engineering experience
Hands-on equipment troubleshooting and process improvement skills
Excellent project management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD
Demonstrated ability to lead people and deliver results
Strong project management and tracking skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
Problem analysis and resolution at strategic and functional levels
