As Engineering Manager - Projects, you lead technical delivery across large, cross-discipline offshore initiatives within Nexans’ Power Transmission group. You coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage interfaces with manufacturing, procurement, installation, and clients, and ensure delivery on time, budget, and quality. You shape technical solutions through the full project lifecycle, from tender to close-out, while upholding Nexans standards and QHSE culture. This role offers impact in enabling offshore renewable energy and critical power infrastructure worldwide.

Responsibilities

Act as the technical lead and single point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring successful system delivery across the full project lifecycle
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to meet timelines, budgets, quality, and contract specifications
Manage technical interfaces among engineering disciplines, manufacturing, procurement, installation teams, suppliers, and clients
Support project execution from tender phase through establishment, risk and change management, installation support, and close-out
Promote resource optimization, collaboration, and continuous improvement within project teams
Foster a strong QHSE culture and ensure compliance with internal standards and the Project Execution Model

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related technical discipline
5-10 years of experience managing engineering activities in complex project environments
Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering execution and full lifecycle delivery
Experience with project execution models, contract management, risk management, technical documentation, and engineering quality standards
Ability to manage technical stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver within budget and schedule
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical decisions
Fluent in English and Norwegian (written and spoken)
