In this Engineering Manager role, you lead the site’s Process Engineering Group to drive manufacturing improvements and capital projects. You’ll coordinate projects that boost OEE, line efficiency, and cost efficiency while steering technology evaluation and deployment. You collaborate with the Capital Projects Team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and maintain stringent HSE and quality standards. Your work shapes plant performance, cost reduction, and continuous improvement, contributing to Alkegen’s mission to enable greener, safer products and processes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the Process Engineering Team and allocate resources
Lead projects to improve OEE, line efficiency, and product costs
Assess and adopt new technologies for value and capability
Manage local capital expenditures to meet scope, time, and budget
Lead site cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives and ideation sessions
Support and comply with HSE and Quality Policies
Define, automate, and simplify processes; identify key levers
Investigate and resolve process, engineering, and technical problems
Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
Develop technical capability within the team
Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Maintain Alkegen’s safety standards and promote Safe Standards of Work
Champion safety and core safety principles on site

Key requirements

Bachelor in Engineering with 5+ years of industrial experience
Formal TPM, Six Sigma, WCM, TPS or Lean training with 5+ years implementing and managing engineering functions
Strong report writing and business communication skills
Ability to present to production and maintenance staff
Analytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions
