As Engineering Lead Mechanical, you will steer a team of mechanical engineers to deliver technically complex projects within a global, energy-transition focused environment. You will champion engineering standards, guide multidisciplinary designs, and ensure timely, quality outcomes across the project lifecycle. This role combines hands-on leadership with technical excellence to drive impact on large-scale offshore and onshore installations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to optimize resources and methods, contributing to innovative solutions like the Monopile Gripper.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers in day-to-day operations aligned with project goals
Manage performance and allocate resources to tasks and priorities
Ensure deliverables and designs meet project requirements and standards
Contribute to development and improvement of engineering methods and technologies
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to the project plan
Oversee project quality and report progress in line with requirements
Drive improvements to discipline and product standards using lessons learned

Key requirements

Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
5–7 years of experience in mechanical engineering with proven track record
Experience leading and guiding a team to top performance
Strong planning and organisational skills
Excellent technical knowledge in design and structural aspects
Ability to provide clear direction and mentoring to the team
EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands
Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
