In this role you support the operation and reliability of AI-enabled platforms, working with senior DevOps and platform teams to keep systems available and secure. You’ll monitor health, respond to incidents, and document processes, using AI-assisted tools to speed investigations while relying on human judgment for safe operation. You will participate in deployments, automation tasks, and on-call rotations, continually learning about AI workflows and best practices. This is an opportunity to shape scalable, ethical AI operations at Comcast.

Responsibilities

Monitor platform health with logs, metrics, dashboards, and alerts; validate AI insights before acting
Respond to incidents following runbooks; communicate with senior engineers and escalate as needed
Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and integration issues with curiosity and learning mindset
Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate investigation, documentation, and diagnostics while ensuring ethical use
Execute routine deployments and environment support tasks under guidance
Support basic automation and scripting (Python or shell) to boost efficiency
Maintain and improve operational runbooks and documentation for high-pressure situations
Collaborate with DevOps, platform, QA, and engineering teams to support releases
Adhere to security, access control, and data-handling practices in AI-enabled operations
Participate in on-call or operational support rotations and continue knowledge building
Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements

2-5 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience with monitoring and incident response in complex environments
Proficiency in scripting (Python or shell)
Strong adaptability and willingness to learn about AI systems
Clear and effective communication skills
Critical thinking and ethical mindset for AI use
Resilience in high-pressure situations
