In this role you will represent clients in employment disputes, focusing on plaintiff-side claims from initial consultation through trial and appeal. You will manage a robust caseload, conduct depositions, and develop litigation strategies to secure favorable outcomes. Responsibilities
- Represent clients in employment-related disputes (e.g., wrongful termination, wage and hour)
- Manage all phases of litigation from intake to trial and appeal
- Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery, draft pleadings, argue motions
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies tailored to clients
- Provide high-quality legal advice ensuring compliance with applicable laws
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive solutions
Key requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
- Bar admission in California, in good standing
- 5–10 years of experience in plaintiff employment law
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Commitment to ethical practice and professionalism
