In this role you will design, implement, test, and document firmware and software for high voltage power supplies, collaborating with a global engineering team. You help evolve embedded systems across multiple markets, from requirements to release, applying DSPs, MCUs, FPGAs, and DSP-accelerated control. You’ll contribute to a high-performance engineering culture while shaping next-generation power electronics solutions. This position offers hands-on impact in a global, industry-leading environment.

- salary range: $96,000 - $131,000
Responsibilities
- Support firmware/software development planning for HVPS projects
- Hands-on firmware/software design for HV power supplies (languages include C, Verilog, VHDL, C#, Java; RTOS-based)
- Interface with engineering peers to implement features from product requirements
- Prepare technical documentation (diagrams, test reports, manuals, release notes)
- Review customer requirements and support release/verification processes
- Improve firmware/software release processes and revision control (Tortoise SVN)
- Research latest embedded concepts (DSPs, MCUs, FPGAs, CPLDs, SOM)
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Quality teams as needed
- Develop Embedded Systems Engineering plans aligned with company objectives
- Support design reviews, documentation, and software/firmware releases as per processes
- Foster an engineering culture of high performance and proactive mentoring
Key requirements
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years in Embedded Systems
- Understanding Verilog or VHDL FPGA design
- Knowledge of digital systems (ADC, DAC, UART, RS-485/RS-232, USB, Ethernet, MCUs, DSPs, RAM/ROM)
- Experience with emulators, debuggers, JTAG, IDEs; design/verification tools
- Exposure to Matlab-Simulink, PSIM, and similar tools
- Experience with design verification testing and customer-facing documentation
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to drive value
