In this role you will develop real-time embedded software using C/C++ on VxWorks or Linux RTOS, applying OO design to craft robust architectures. You will integrate software with hardware and manage code with ClearCase, ClearQuest, and Git/GitHub. Collaboration on RF system integrations, including RF EW, will be key, along with thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliable operation. You will shape the real-time software stack in a multidisciplinary, RF-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software applications in C/C++ for VxWorks or Linux RTOS
- Apply Object-Oriented Design to optimize software architecture
- Integrate software with hardware to ensure proper functionality
- Manage code changes with ClearCase, ClearQuest, and Git/GitHub
- Collaborate on RF system integrations, including RF EW
- Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure reliability
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or related field)
- 5+ years of embedded software engineering experience
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with VxWorks or Linux RTOS
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and hardware/software integration
