Responsibilities

Act as the technical authority for embedded platform modernization and next-generation architectures
Lead design strategy for real-time embedded platforms on multi-core SoCs using RTOS or embedded Linux
Guide virtualized firmware stacks, embedded containers, and real-time microservices for substations and edge computing
Drive modernization through lean hypervisors and microservice-oriented architecture for secure field updates
Design CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps workflows, and automated testing for embedded environments
Promote modular design, RTOS abstraction, and real-time determinism across services
Lead edge software strategies for AI/ML-based diagnostics and predictive maintenance in real-time containers
Engage with standards bodies (IEC, IEEE, UCAIug) and represent the organization in forums
Contribute to multi-year roadmaps for protection and automation portfolios
Evaluate emerging technologies and mentor global teams on new architectures
