Manager / Team Leader
Experteer Overview
In this role you drive Environmental, Health, Safety and Security compliance for the Caivano site, aligning local practices with corporate EHS standards. You’ll lead audits, incident investigations, and training while improving the EHS management system and budget plan. You work with site leadership to embed best practices and manage EHS resources, travel as needed, and influence cross-functional teams to reduce risk and enhance safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing EHS legal compliance and communicate updates to the Leadership Team
- Develop and align local EHS strategies with corporate guidelines and report feedback to the Country Manager
- Participate in the local Leadership Team and coordinate with Location Manager and EHS Country Manager
- Define and maintain EHS staffing requirements with resources secured from EHS Country Manager
- Collaborate with Process Safety Managers/Coordinators on process safety requirements
- Manage local EHS budget in line with site leadership and country guidelines
- Approve off-site EHS activities and coordinate accordingly
- Lead reviews and audits of EHS policies, procedures, and performance with corrective actions
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and hazards, prepare regulatory reports and root causes
- Develop and deliver employee training, emergency preparedness, and QA programs
- Maintain EHS scorecards, lead local EHS meetings, and participate in country-level EHS reviews
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in EHS, chemistry, engineering, or related science
- In-depth knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel within the country
