In this role, you design and maintain data models to support client decisions on commuting impact, workforce accessibility, location strategy, and real estate planning. You quantify strategic and financial effects of real estate choices while accounting for external factors. You translate complex data into client-ready insights via dashboards, reports, and visualizations. You act as the primary client contact, guide proposals, and mentor junior staff, contributing to both client success and internal capability growth. This role blends econometric analysis, data science, and cross-functional collaboration to shape real estate solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain internal data models for commuting impact, workforce accessibility, location strategy, and real estate investment planning
  • Quantify strategic and financial impact of real estate decisions considering external factors
  • Analyze labor markets, workforce trends, and geographic cost dynamics using data science and BI tools
  • Translate data into client-ready insights via dashboards, reports, maps, and presentations
  • Interpret external econometric datasets to inform real-world client applications
  • Collaborate across teams to refine analytic methods and enhance modeling capabilities
  • Serve as primary client engagement lead, managing scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Contribute to proposals and participate in business development with analytical strategy
  • Mentor junior analysts and guide project execution and communication quality

Key requirements

  • Master's degree in a related field with 4 years of relevant consulting/economic analysis experience OR Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years analyzing labor markets, demographics, and financial modeling of lease options; ability to translate insights into real estate requirements
  • Experience managing client relationships for key accounts and delivering new-business presentations
  • Experience mentoring juniors in project execution and career development
  • Data ingestion and cleaning; modeling in Python or R; end-to-end workflows for causal inference (Did, PSM, RCT)
  • Developing data pipelines and producing dashboards/spatial analyses using Power BI, Tableau, and ESRI ArcGIS
