Responsibilities

Provide high-quality clinical care for pediatric nephrology patients at multiple UCSF campuses
Contribute to education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical settings
Engage in scholarly activity, quality improvement, or clinical research to advance nephrology
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
Participate in program development and academic duties in line with rank and series
Support advocacy and outreach initiatives aligned with the department’s mission

Key requirements

Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent)
Eligible for medical licensure in California
Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Nephrology
Demonstrated excellence in clinical care
Collaborative teamwork with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
