In this role you will help build Scopely’s technology audit function and elevate the state of risk management across the company. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders to shape the audit program, focusing on technology, security, and AI within a dynamic gaming environment. You will drive continuous improvement through data analytics and automation, while advising senior stakeholders on controls, governance, and compliance. Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee the technology audit function across business units, aligning with best practices and company strategy
- Develop and execute a risk-based audit plan covering technology, cybersecurity, IT, and AI-related risks
- Assess internal controls and governance in technology areas, identifying gaps and recommending improvements
- Advise technology leadership and Head of Internal Audit on risk, controls, governance, and compliance
- Design and implement an optimal internal audit operating model with in-house and co-sourced resources
- Drive process improvements using data analytics, automation, and digital audit tools, including continuous monitoring and AI-enabled approaches
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, and IT to deliver a comprehensive audit program
- Stay current on regulations, emerging risks, and gaming industry trends to enable proactive risk management
- Prepare and present audit findings to senior management and stakeholders
- Assist in managing the internal audit budget and benchmarking standards
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, accounting, finance, or related field
- Master's degree or professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP) highly desirable
- Minimum 6 years of progressive internal audit experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focusing on technology audit
- Experience in the video game industry or related entertainment/tech sectors
- Strong knowledge of GIAs and governance frameworks (COSO, COBIT, ISO) related to technology, security, and AI
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and mentoring能力
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to operate in a multinational, high-growth environment
- Familiarity with enterprise risk management frameworks
