In this role you lead a large, matrixed transformation program to implement SAP S/4HANA across functions and regions. You act as the central interface to top management, business, and IT, ensuring business-led, value-driven execution. You design and own the program strategy, governance, and roadmap, balancing standardization with local needs while managing a multi-year, multi-stakeholder landscape. You partner with finance, supply chain, and process design leads to ensure integrated delivery and measurable value beyond go-live.

Responsibilities

Define and own the global SAP S/4HANA program strategy, vision, and roadmap
Serve as the main liaison between top management, business functions, and IT
Ensure the transformation is business-driven and not seen as purely IT-centric
Align standardization with local requirements, cost, timeline, and feasibility
Build, scale, and steer a complex international program organization with clear roles and interfaces
Collaborate with Finance TO Mole, Supply Chain Transformation, and Business Process Architect leads for integrated delivery
Establish governance structures, steering committees, risk management, and decision processes
Plan, execute, and allocate resources across workstreams with agile promotion
Define KPIs to measure success and sustain value post go-live
Identify risks early and implement mitigation to secure program success
Manage external partners and vendor collaboration compliance

Key requirements

Degree in business, information technology, engineering, or comparable qualification
Experience in complex, historically grown processes and distributed organizations
Several years of leading transformation programs or ERP implementations, preferably SAP S/4HANA
Experience steering cross-functional initiatives bridging business, process, and technology
Strong communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
Confident presence with senior stakeholders; experience with top management
Structured, solution-oriented, pragmatic approach with clear overview in complexity
Business-proficient English; German a plus
