Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the department's activities to meet organizational objectives
- Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards aligned with clinical, legal, and ethical requirements
- Direct and evaluate department operations including patient care delivery, information technologies, service levels, and complaint management
- Plan and monitor staffing activities (hiring, onboarding, evaluations, disciplinary actions, continuing education)
- Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets and ensure compliance with funding
- Coordinate and direct internal and external audits
Key requirements
- Bachelor in related field
- Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education
