As Channel Sales Manager for enterprise retail software, you drive both direct and partner-led growth to expand our retail software footprint. You’ll cultivate key customer relationships, manage the full sales cycle, and lead demand generation initiatives. You’ll partner with Marketing, Professional Services, and Product Management to refine strategy and ensure sustainable revenue growth. Your impact spans market intelligence, forecasts, and high‑level negotiations with C‑level stakeholders, shaping how we scale in the retail sector.

Responsibilities

  • Manage direct and channel sales opportunities from inbound to close and post-sale upsell
  • Develop and execute partner network strategy to expand indirect revenue
  • Lead demand generation and field outreach for retail industry
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and meet revenue targets
  • Obtain and manage proposals, contracts, and pricing approvals for licenses and services
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts with Marketing, PS, Global Support and Product Management
  • Conduct Quarterly Customer Business Reviews to strengthen client relationships
  • Maintain CRM with forecast data and strategic insights
  • Gather market intelligence on competition and trends to inform strategy
  • Support regional marketing and commercial plans and travel as needed
  • Build robust relationships across organizations, including C‑level engagement
  • Oversee lifecycle management of direct and channel engagements including negotiations and onboarding
  • Deliver feedback and recommendations to improve market penetration
  • Lead and participate in training and enablement for partners to ensure high‑quality resources
  • Collaborate on go‑to‑market messaging and sales processes with management

Key requirements

  • 15+ years of corporate sales experience in direct sales and/or channel environments
  • Experience selling Retail Software and SAP Business One is required
  • Proven track record in partner and channel management
  • Ability to lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, negotiations, onboarding, and post‑sale support
  • Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM utilization
  • Fluent English, professional qualification preferred
  • Willingness to travel domestically and to nearby countries, including nights and weekends when needed
