You will lead Rehabilitation Services to ensure high-quality patient care while achieving clinical, service, and financial objectives. You will partner with medical leadership to align with the hospital’s strategic plan and service line goals. You will oversee both inpatient and outpatient Rehabilitation Services, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive program development and operational improvements. This role offers impact through shaping care delivery, collaborating with physicians, and advancing organizational performance. The position blends clinical oversight with strategic leadership in a mission-driven hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of Rehabilitation Services quality of care in collaboration with medical staff leadership
- Achieve clinical and service objectives, fiscal targets, and alignment with the strategic plan
- Provide overall direction for inpatient and outpatient Rehabilitation Services
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Joint Commission standards
- Maintain accountability to regulatory agencies at county, state, and federal levels
Key requirements
- Current California Physical Therapist License
- BCLS certificate
- 5+ years of progressive management experience in an imaging/acute care hospital setting
- Experience in operations improvement, clinical program development, organizational development, and financial management
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field; advanced degree preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with physicians
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for imaging and related modalities
