In this role, you will lead the Investment Operations and Administration function to support the Chief Investment Office, ensuring efficient trade execution, centralized account management, and robust governance. You will serve as the liaison between CIO, advisors, and cross-functional partners to uphold data integrity and regulatory compliance while accelerating automation and digital transformation. By shaping operational processes and policies, you’ll enhance the client experience and governance of the investment program. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on collaboration, controls, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Operationalize investment ideas with the CIO and investment team to streamline trades and centralize account management
Lead onboarding of new strategies, products, and vehicles
Support trade settlement, reconciliations, portfolio accounting, and performance reporting with data accuracy across systems
Develop and maintain operational policies aligned with regulatory and fiduciary requirements
Support committees with documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping
Coordinate subscription and funding documents with Client Service and Operations for timely processing
Ensure data integrity and governance with Compliance and Risk
Oversee investment systems, databases, and workflow tools for management and reporting
Drive automation and digital transformation across investment operations
Chair the Private Wealth Advisor Council and provide administrative leadership for CIO, Investment Research and Strategy, and related teams
Mentor and develop a team of investment operations professionals
Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Serve as liaison among investment, finance, and compliance for coordinated processes

Key requirements

Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years of relevant experience in investment operations or administration in asset management, endowment, or family office environments
Strong understanding of investment instruments across public and private markets, including alternatives
Proven experience managing operational infrastructure, vendor relationships, and cross-functional teams
Deep knowledge of portfolio accounting systems, trade workflows, and operational controls
Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, integrity, and process excellence
Familiarity with trading and portfolio management systems (e.g., Eclipse, Orion, Bloomberg, Morningstar, Factset) and data management, reporting, and planning systems; comfort with digital transformation
