Responsibilities

Shape the evolution of the Digital Experiences Platform into a cohesive merchant-facing solution
Accelerate innovation by providing a robust frontend/backend backbone and shared services for autonomous domain teams
Champion intelligent experiences using AI and automation to simplify complex workflows
Elevate design and experience governance to scale internal innovations into global standards
Build and mentor a high-impact leadership pipeline, fostering extreme ownership and cross-domain collaboration

Key requirements

10+ years of engineering leadership experience with multiple management layers
Deep expertise in building large-scale distributed systems and full-stack capability (Java/backend and modern frontend frameworks)
Experience with decentralized governance and delivering unified product outcomes without centralized control
Ability to translate complex technical and business concepts for C-level stakeholders and merchants
Proven track record of driving simplicity, iterative change, and cross-domain improvements
