Responsibilities

Define long-term foundational research strategy for computer vision capabilities
Provide executive technical leadership, architecture, and roadmap for a unified CV platform
Lead organizational design, talent strategy, and mentorship across geographies
Own end-to-end MLOps lifecycle for central models and AI infrastructure
Establish and monitor technical performance metrics (latency, throughput, reliability) to drive improvements
Evaluate cutting-edge CV research and manage build-versus-buy decisions

Key requirements

10+ years of technical leadership in computer vision teams
5+ years hands-on experience building and optimizing CV models or as CV researcher
Proven ability to define architectural vision for central AI infrastructure
Experience defining long-term technical vision and roadmaps for large platforms
Experience managing a distributed engineering/research organization of 50–100 people
Strong analytical skills with AI performance metrics and real-time video processing expertise
Customer-driven leadership translating ambiguous concepts into executable roadmaps
Start-up mentality with bias for action in fast-paced environments
