In this role you drive the campus Career Services program to deliver strong student placement outcomes while leading the campus team. You will align services with the school's mission, supervise and develop staff, and strengthen employer relations and externship initiatives. You’ll partner with compliance, academic and community partners to meet regulatory standards and IEC goals. Responsibilities

Lead the Career Services team to achieve placement results aligned with regulatory standards and school guidelines
Develop and execute the campus strategy for Career Services and ensure execution of IEC-wide plans
Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to Career Services staff and new specialists
Oversee externship components and campus strategies to meet Extern to Hire goals
Manage the Career Services budget and staff/resource allocation
Maintain and cultivate relationships with employers and alumni; sponsor on-campus recruiting and community events
Collaborate with campus departments and ensure standard IEC-wide Career Services structures and meetings
Conduct market surveys for new programs and monitor relevant metrics to drive performance
Support professional development programs for staff and students; lead advisory board activities
Ensure compliance with placement processes and documentation with IEC compliance team

Key requirements

3+ years of combined career services and management experience, with >1 year of management experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Strong oral and written communication and presentation abilities
Effective problem resolution skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, esp. Excel and Outlook
Ability to build and maintain a team and supervise professionals
Proven track record of successful placement activities in education or staffing/recruiting
Valid driver's license and ability to drive in the United States
