In this role you will identify and develop new OM opportunities within Yusen Logistics, shaping the regional business development plan and engaging senior decision-makers. You’ll articulate the OM value proposition across industries, coordinate proposals and demos, and drive end-to-end deals from discovery to go-live. You’ll collaborate across multiple business units to align solutions with client needs and contribute to the growth of the SCS OM portfolio. This is an opportunity to influence a new function and deliver measurable impact in a global logistics context.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a regional business development plan for Origin Management, targeting volume, revenue and margin growth
Prospect new clients, manage opportunity discovery, and craft tailored proposals including RFx
Engage senior stakeholders with professional communication and relationship-building
Create client feedback loops to improve engagements, products, and solutions
Provide regular pursuit updates and maintain CRM standards for pipeline visibility
Ensure proposals align with SCS OM capabilities and obtain internal sign-off for new services
Coordinate post-win communications and document Commercial agreements for implementation
Maintain ongoing client relationships and participate in periodic business reviews
Represent Yusen Logistics/OM at industry events and lead cross-functional collaboration
Act as a self-starter, coordinating travel, meetings, and materials; travel as required

Key requirements

5+ years of experience in selling OM services/solutions or in OM operations/support roles
Degree in Business Administration, Procurement/Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
Proficient in MS Office; PowerBI or Tableau knowledge preferred
Strong ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Experience engaging C-level stakeholders and negotiating contracts
