Experteer Overview
In this role you drive revenue growth for PharMerica’s Behavioral Health and IDD division by identifying and closing new business opportunities. You work with the Regional VP of Sales to qualify prospects, tailor proposals, and contract onboarding, while coordinating with pharmacy operations to ensure a smooth handoff. You’ll manage a defined territory (CT, MA, NH, RI) with significant travel, building strategic relationships with IDD and behavioral health organizations. This is a performance-driven, cross-functional role that shapes how we serve this market.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential opportunities with the RVP of Sales to assess profitability and strategic impact on the region
- Identify opportunities through calls, referrals, reports, and CRM; engage IDD agencies and behavioral health organizations
- Finalize contracts and coordinate startup of new accounts and transition to pharmacy operations
- Develop and execute territory plans using market segmentation to target high-potential prospects
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships by providing ongoing value through products and services
- Customize IDD and BH presentations and proposals to meet client needs
- Achieve quarterly and annual bed and revenue goals
- Coordinate with pharmacy team to uncover leads and resolve service issues
- Complete sales, reporting, and contracting in a timely, accurate manner
- Participate in industry trade shows as required
- Adhere to company code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Key requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in healthcare sales or related field
- Experience selling healthcare services to IDD agencies and behavioral health facilities preferred
- Contract negotiation experience a plus
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with Hubspot CRM
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (~75%)
- Strong oral communication and organizational skills
- Product/service knowledge in healthcare sales
- CRM familiarity (Hubspot)
- Ability to work with executive-level stakeholders
