In this role you drive growth for Publicis Sapient’s Commerce Practice by leading complex, consultative sales across B2B, B2C and D2C channels. You will be a trusted platform expert on Adobe Commerce and Shopify Plus, guiding clients through current shifts like agentic commerce and AI-enabled buying. You’ll build strong partner relationships, own the full sales cycle, and collaborate across delivery and alliances to deliver multi-platform commerce solutions. This is a chance to shape how clients sell and serve in an AI-powered landscape.
Responsibilities
- Sell across the full commerce landscape for B2B, B2C, and D2C, including platform implementations, managed services, integrations, and optimization programs
- Demonstrate deep platform knowledge (Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus) to be seen as a trusted advisor
- Advise clients on the shift toward agentic commerce and practical preparation for AI-driven changes
- Drive platform partner relationships with Adobe, Shopify Plus, and others through co-selling, deal registration, and joint pursuits
- Own the full sales cycle from qualification to closing, maintain disciplined pipeline, forecast, and secure executive alignment
- Collaborate with commerce delivery and alliances teams to scope engagements and align on opportunities
- Represent the practice in partner planning sessions and ensure effective handoffs from sales to delivery
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and bring the full practice weight to pursuits
Key requirements
- 5+ years selling enterprise software, digital services, or commerce solutions with quota attainment
- Experience with long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving IT, marketing, ecommerce ops, and C-suite buyers
- Proficiency in crafting and presenting proposals, SOWs, and business cases to technical and business audiences
- Familiarity with leading commerce platforms (Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus) and the broader e-commerce ecosystem
- Experience with partner channels, co-selling motions, deal registration, and partner programs
- Interest in AI’s impact on commerce, ability to translate trends into practical client guidance
