You will lead a high-performing accounting organization, supervising two Controllers and partnering with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives. The role goes beyond close-the-books, focusing on process improvement, data-driven reporting, and scalable systems. You will navigate complex financial discussions with boards and leadership, acting as a technical accounting resource across the company. This is a high-visibility, strategic leadership position with impact on people, processes, and controls.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the accounting management team and supervise two Controllers
Oversee monthly financial reporting and reviews
Manage complex multi-entity accounting environments
Support audits, internal controls, and SSAE-18 / SOC compliance
Lead accounting integrations for acquisitions
Develop KPIs, dashboards, and departmental metrics
Drive technology enhancements and accounting system improvements
Partner cross-functionally with operations, IT, training, and business development teams
Coach and mentor Controllers and accounting staff

Key requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
5+ years of accounting leadership experience
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, macros, pivot tables, and large data analysis
Experience leading teams
CPA preferred
