In this role you will provide medical and scientific leadership to drive the US Medical Affairs strategy for Immunocore. You will partner with commercial and clinical teams to shape medical planning, advisory boards, and education initiatives while ensuring scientific accuracy in materials. You will engage with healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and strategic partners to advance the therapeutic area. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role with travel and a focus on compliant, evidence-based medical activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead US medical affairs activities and set the therapeutic area strategy
- Oversee annual medical planning and implement overall medical strategy
- Provide in-house scientific expertise and ensure medical accuracy of materials
- Act as medical affairs interface with internal/external stakeholders
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial and other functions across operations
- Engage with HCPs, academic institutions, societies, and advocacy/payor groups
- Develop and oversee US medical education and advisory boards
- Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements
Key requirements
- Accredited doctorate in a basic-science or life-science discipline and 5+ years in medical affairs, with 3+ years in a headquarters-based role
- Valid driver’s license including REAL-ID
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency in CRM systems
